So I was diagnosed with Stage 4 Lung Cancer & Superior Vena Cava Compression October 2020, after receiving Chemotherapy and losing my hair & confidence I then had Radiotherapy & Immunotherapy until June 2021 when my Oncologist said the cancer has spread and I needed more chemotherapy which started 3 weeks ago, I have now just lost my hair for the second time in a year and I’m devastated, I had just started socialising again with friends, I have no family and now feeling isolated again, to think this is how I’m going to now spend the few remaining months of my life just feels so sad, I’m only 61 and gave up smoking 20 years ago when I lost my sister to cancer. This disease is so cruel and I know I’m not the only one going through this but it’s so difficult being on my own with cancer.
