in October 2020 I was given a course of radio therapy. I was later informed
That whilst the cancer had not grown it had not shrunk either.
I have a telephone meeting with the oncologist on the 14 May.
what I am wondering is what will be the next step. I am 85 years young
and have severe COPD so an operation is out of the question.
there nust be some one out there who is or had the same symptoms
who can advise me Cheers
Hi Tom, and welcome to the lung group, but sorry you find yourself here.
That must of been very disappointing to hear that the tumour hasn’t shrunk after finishing radiotherapy.
I hope when you have your telephone consultation they are able to offer you a different treatment. My journey is different to yours, but hopefully someone will be along soon to share a similar story for you.
Wishing you all the best
