I found out I had lung cancer while having a stent put in my av fistula for dialysis, I had surgery on the 30th of November but had complications as the artery was cut so spent 5 day in th ICU and I just  completed my course of radiotherapy, hopefully I'm cancer clear.  My questions are does the breathing are boob pain get any better,, my left boob is ice cold sometimes too.

  • Hi NannaS and welcome to our group, but sorry you find yourself here. It sounds like you have had an awful time ending up in ICU.  My breathing did improve after I had radiotherapy. It can take a few weeks for things to settle down. Sorry I can’t give any advice regarding the cold feeling, I didn’t experience that at all. Maybe that is something you can ask your team about.

    Take care

Thank you for your reply really appreciate it, apparently the nerves in the breast might have been damaged during surgery and that could be why its numb and cold. Glad your breathing has improved
