That was 18 months ago and on top of Stage2 Copd, if it hadn't been for shielding I would still be working, I have a great hospital team who have always been really professional, caring and helpful over this difficult time.
My wife and family have also helped me keep positive through this difficult time and I am taking every day as it comes.
I am coming up to 15th cycles now and it is hard going but I might be able to have a break depending on the next scan.

Hi Dave, and welcome to our corner of the community. Its good to hear that the treatment is going well for you, and you have such good support from your family and your team. Will you be looking to go back to work now that shielding is coming to an end?
I like that you take every day as it comes. I always say I like to enjoy today, and not waste my energy worrying about tomorrow.
