Hi Kitty69. I suffered from insomnia when I was first diagnosed 3 years ago ,had sleeping pills but they stopped working ,and had to withdraw from them slowly , tried all sorts of things , some nights I did'nt sleep at all, others just 2 or 3 hours , then about a year ago I went to my doctor as I was desperate , I was also very anxious , he put me on antidepressants , there not perfect some good nights and some not so good, but the anxiety has gone , if I get 5 hours I can manage on that. good luck with your treatment Ellen.
Thanks ellen i just want a few hours decent sleep will speak to the team at the hospital see what they say just need some energy to fight this battle i wish you well
Sheila
