Hi, I am new to the forum. I was diagnosed with Lung cancer in October 2017. I began immunotherapy in January 2018 which ended in March 2020. During that time I also had my right kidney removed because of a tumour. I am well at the moment and trying to get on with life ( as much as we are allowed!). I also had breast cancer when I was 39 yrs old (I am now 65). I can only say that through all of these troubles I have always tried to keep positive. I know people tell you to stay positive and sometimes that is very difficult, but what is the alternative? Just keep on battling and use every opportunity there is to be happy.
Yes I fully agree, sorry to hear about your cancers, I too have breast cancer diagnosed 2019 nov ,had right breast mammoplasty and immunotherapy for 1 year but they [picked up a nodule in the right upper lobe of the lung which I had VATS September 2020 but now its back and I am waiting for surgery April to have a lobectomy and sentinel nodes removed as a precaution, I have not spoken to anyone who has had a lobectomy, I am in Jersey and no Lung cancer support here. WE have to be very Positive!!
Any comments welcome.
I've just been told that I have a secondary breast cancer it's gone on to my left lung and lymph nodes I'm so scared of the chemotherapy coming up at end of August.
