Hello everyone,
i was diagnosed with T4 non small cell lung cancer and started treatment with Pembrolizumab 3 weeks ago. At the moment my only side effects are Joint stiffness and pain plus Muscle weakness which affect my mobility and don’t seem to be easing. Has anyone else been affected by this problem during their treatment and if so is it normal?

Hi Hoachie and welcome to the group, but sorry you find yourself here.
I am sorry I have not had Pembrolizumab, but I have found the information and support page on Pembrolizumab and it lists the side effects. I'll put the link HERE for you.
I think maybe you should mention this to your oncology team, it sounds like you need some pain relief.
Take care
Hi Hoachie
I have been taking Pembrolizumab since January 2020, so just over a year. I too experience the symptoms you are describing, especially muscle weakness affecting mobility. These can be side effects of immunotherapy but you should discuss them with your oncology team. I had upper left lobe removed 2019 and suffer from nerve damage so I take gabapentin, which helps. You could discuss pain relief with your team.
