My 77 year old husband has lung cancer stage 4 and prostate cancer stage 4. He has had immunotherapy for two years and this stopped 2 months ago. His first scan since the immunotherapy stopped has shown anincrease in the size of the tumour and a nodule in the lung. Previous scans have been stable.
He has been told that this may be due to swelling which can occur during and after immunotherapy but if not this then he may be eligible for atrial of a new drug.
Does anyone have any experience of these circumstances?
Liz
