Just can't believe I have been diagonised with this, just keep crying every day

  • Hi  I am sorry you are struggling with your diagnoses. I know how scary this is for you.  I think you will benefit from talking to someone about this. Do you have a maggies centre near you. Or a Macmillan centre? You can find out if there are any support groups here  information-and-support/in-your-area. Click on the link and pop in your postcode. Both  maggies and Macmillan centres are great places to go to talk to someone about your situation, you do not need an appointment you can just go along. If not you can call the Macmillan support line on 0808 808 00 00 which is available 7 days a week from 8am until 8pm.

  • Thanks for your response, it's such a scary time I can see him getting worse day by day and because he's not eating much he is feeling worse than ever. I'm going to check with the doctor see what they can do to help.

  • Ask the doctor for supplement drinks they have 600 calories in one drink it doesn't replace food but it will give him all the nutrition he needs if he's not eating am taking them strawberry and chocolate are nice xxx
