Hi. My mum has NSCLC and brain Mets. She's on steroids and has had whole brain radio therapy for her brain. Yesterday she had a session of chemotherapy. The Drs keep preparing us that she could decline very very quickly with this. At the minute other than feeling tired and a bit achy she feels ok-ish.
Does anyone have any experience of how quickly she could decline or any experience at all (be as brutally honest as you like as id rather know everything!)
Thank you
Hi Nic160172f6 I am so sorry to hear about your mum. This is a very difficult question because everyone’s cancer diagnoses and the way they respond to treatment is different.
As it is brain radio your mum had had, I wonder if you have looked at the Brain cancer forum and the Secondary brain cancer forum you may find some similar experiences there.
Whatever cancer throws your way, we’re right there with you.
We’re here to provide physical, financial and emotional support.
