Side effects carboplatin and gemcitabine

Hi Ellasmum both of those treatments can cause irritation in the lung, with coughing being a side effect for both. However I am not sure about the brown mucus, this could well be an infection so I would contact your lung nurse and mention this to her.

Iv been told from a ct scan that the cancer has spread to my first rib , the pain in across back is horrendous has anyone else had back pain or bone pain?

I hope you don't mind me popping in here, I just noticed that you had posted a few times in the early hours of the morning and I just wanted to make sure you have the right support in place.

That sounds like a good idea,I talk to friend in Canada when there’s nobody about I sometimes through the night sleeping so what you have said sounds good I will keep an eye out for it thankyou for the info x Donna
