Hi is anybody having immune after chemo for lung cancer and if you have how are doing
I am! Hubby and I are just back from a celebratory holiday to mark finishing treatment. So what happens now is I'll continue with a 3 monthly scan and oncologist meeting, and then they will plan to knock that back to 6 monthly, and then yearly. I've had No Evidence of Disease throughout, we had a couple of worries over adrenal and bowel cancer at various points, but they turned out to be nothing as well. So I count myself as very lucky. Immunotherapy can be a game changer, and I hope that your hubby has the same experience. Just keep on keeping on, it's a long road, but can be managed in bite sized chunks. Keep me posted.
Thank you for that positive message! I am going on my third round in 20 days, then one more and a year of immunotherapy. I’m praying I have the same results ……
You've got no reason why you shouldn't! The chemo is harder going than immunotherapy in my experience. You get more tired towards the end, but just take it a day at a time. Keep me posted.
Hi glad to hear that when was your husband diagnosed mine was diagnosed 3 weeks ago with advanced lung cancer in right lung possibly in left lung having ct biopsy tomorrow
Feb 2024 his is in the right lung and had spread to his lymph nodes then in the April they found he had a brain tumour which they successfully removed since then he’s been having chemotherapy alongside immunotherapy he had four rounds now he’s having immunotherapy for the next 18 months and at the moment he’s doing really really well
Good luck with your scan but the treatment for lung cancer thank god as come along way

My husband was diagnosed on Jan 23rd after 5 months of tests with cancer in the bottom of his right lung no lymph node involved but may have spread to bottom of left lung hence the biopsy hope your husband goes on okay ️
Good luck to your husband too il stay in touch let you know how it’s all going xx
Yes, I agree……. So I am getting Chemo ,4 rounds, to kill any cancer cells that may have escaped and are in my body. The side effects are pretty rough for the first week!
Please keep us updated on your treatment. God Bless
Yes, I outdoor love to hear from someone as the plan is for me after chemo. Anyone having severe side effects from chemo and how are you managing? I have 2 more to do………it’s really tough on me, I’m thinking of asking my dr to cut back on the dosage, what do you all think?
