Hi is anybody having immune after chemo for lung cancer and if you have how are doing
Hi
I had initially a blast of Radiotherapy then Chemo and Immunotherapy. I was surprisingly well and didn’t have any major side effects. I did however have to stop the immunotherapy after 18months due to raised ALT effecting my liver. Oncologist said it was better to stop now to prevent damage to the liver.
I was diagnosed jan 2021 and other than developing Diabeties have managed well. Hope this helps
Hi ,I've had chemotherapy, radiotherapy and been on immune durvalumab for 10 months, 1 month, for lung cancer. I've just been told few weeks back cancer as gone in my lung which is brilliant, I founit not to bad but I didn't have my 11th treatment due to problem with my liver side affects, glad to say was put on steroids and my liver is nearly back to normal...I'm seeing my cancer Dr on 26th t
decide if to have the remaining 2 treatments. So good luck to you stay postive. Hope that helps you
That’s fantastic news we are still waiting he had a ct biopsy on his left lung it seems to be taking ages they confirm that it is in his right lung but the tiny nodule on his left lung looks suspicious just wish they would hurry up and start treating it
Hi I know that feeling of waiting it's worrying but it won't be much longer now. I'm 3 weeks in from a right lobe lobectomy and recovering well. Next for me is results then a treatment plan if needed. Wish you well. Keep in touch xx
The scans showed lymph nodes fine but they still removed them just waiting for results. Fingers crossed
Finally got some action seeing oncologist on 7th March with a view to starting treatment left lung showed some cancer but no lymph nodes involved
What a blessing I had 2 lymph nodes involved and I’m going on round 3 of chemo and it’s tough. Keep us posted on treatment and how you are doing….
