Hi everyone.

over the last few months my step mother has been very unwell with ovarian cancer. She had chemo and all was looking well, but unfortunately on Friday she was taken into hospital with breathing problems. Yesterday she became unresponsive, and sadly today she passed away.

This is the first time in all of years of being a community champ, that I feel that I cannot support you all at this time, so I am going to take a short break and take some time to grieve.

Please do keep posting and encouraging each other as you do. Remember you can also get support from the Macmillan support line on 0808 808 00 00.
