Hi all, just had a second opinion re small cell lung cancer diagnosis, I have already had my 1st round of chemo and immunotherapy, basically I am just asking for help in dealing with basically being given a death sentence of between probably 6 and 18 months (maybe longer if I am really lucky), my partner and I are finding it very difficult to deal with mentally as we have gone from a bit of a cough to this in literally the space of 3 weeks.
I am trying to be positive, I have packed up smoking (a bit late now I know) and trying to give the chemo etc the best chance to prolong my live for as long as possible, I am only 56 and besides the diagnosis am fit and well.
Any positive comments or ray of hope would be so much appreciated.
