Hi all, I’m sure something like this has probably been on before but after spending £££££s on various pillows, post surgery cushions etc I eventually bought the pillows I was originally looking at right in the beginning. They were maternity pillows one is like a bolster pillows about 6feet long so is excellent for one side, I got this one first out of the 2 and had fab sleep but decided I wanted the 12 foot one which you kind of wrap like a donut around yourself absolutely brilliant, the 6 foot one was £42 from Argos and 12 foot one on sale in Littlewoods £72 , I can honestly say for me on my operation side and normal side I have slept soundly and although I still have pillows propping me up I just wish I’d bout these first like I was gonna do. Hope this may help someone before spendg lots of money Grinning.

  • Hi all with the lung cancer my breathing has got a lot worst sometimes it makes me panic as I can’t catch my breath and I have to walk up the stairs and keep taking a breather does anyone know of a way I can relieve this as it’s really scary please help with any suggestions xx

  • Hi, i sometimes have the same. I panic and become conscious of my breathing and gulp until i can get to an open window. I spoke to my cns and I now have an inhaler that I take once a day. For the night, i prop myself up on lots of pillows, so Holliday hopeful has a solution, thank you!

  • Hi  it’s a bit of a vision circle because you panic because you can’t breath, but panicking and anxiety makes your breathing worse! Try and slow your breathing down when this happens. Slow deep breaths. Also speak to your lung nurse because there are breathing exercises you can do to help with this.
