Hi I had a lobectomy in August 22 after a massive shock of finding out I had non small cell it was only because I got the nhs invite to go for a scan that I found out and I got the call from the hub at wythenshaw hospital to say they had found a nodule on my right lung I had absolutely no symptoms this was in June and in august I had the op I was in 2 days everything went really well went back for my 6 weeks scan and everything great not spread which meant no chemotherapy so my scans are now yearly due to me being low risk I’ve just had my 2 nd yearly scan in February had to wait till April for results which is a killer but all great so go next February again I’m so very grateful for the nhs inviting me for that scan and saving my life I’m sure everything will be fine just be positive good luck
