Hello there mum has her first CT 6 months post lung cancer surgery on Friday…. So nervous. Has anyone else gone through this ?
Hi, I'm in the same position as your Mum. I've just had my first CT Scan after lobectomy and am waiting for results. The way I cope with it is I'm lucky I'm getting checked so often and if they find anything it will be really small and hopefully easily dealt with. It works for me. Hope everything goes well for your Mum
Yes she has as she also has primary breast cancer. So she’s had a lobectomy and lymph node removal as 3 out of 5 lymph nodes were affected. Then a lumpectomy and 10 lymph nodes removed and 6 infected. We have had 5 rounds of chemo with 11 to go. She’s on combined lung/breast chemo. So it’s been a journey. However she is nervous about this lung scan
No I just had surgery and no more treatment , I didn't have chemo with either breast cancer or lung cancer , radiotherapy after breast cancer which was 11yrs ago but nothing after lung surgery , I thought I would have had chem because of cancer a second time but no just the surgery.
Take care x
