Hi , my op was 5 yrs ago and I found it a while for my breathlessness to ease up but I do have other things that don't help breathing , COPD & emphysema and atrial fibrillation.  Are you exercising each day ? I don't mean a gym workout but walking and keeping up with the exercises you got in the hospital , I found by walking  a little further each day helped ( weather permitting  ) I hope this is of some help to you
