Hi Doodies mum sorry to hear about your mum. The confusion can be caused by a number of things, but you really need to mention this to someone in your mums medical team. If you can’t speak to someone in oncology then phone her GP. If mums condition get worse or changes quickly, then please call 111 for advice. X
I agree with chelle, you really need to mention this to a doctor. When I had a lobectomy last year I was given a painkiller I'd never had before and it made me hallucinate in addition to making me confused. Your mum's team needs to sort out whether or not the medication is contributing to her confusion.
