Stage 4 NSCLC. Spread to bones and suspected lymph nodes
January 2022 husband diagnosed stage 4 NSC... Tomorrow we are flying to Greece for 2 weeks with family.... At a huge cost for insurance. Living each day to full.
It's all new to me, only diagnosed a few weeks ago.
I became obsessed with the how long question, now called my sell by date.
My view now is who cares, it's all statistical data and based on shifting sands. I've been talking to people on here who were given weeks to live and they've been here for years.
No one knows for sure, so..... live every day and don't obsess and waste time dwelling on something you can't fix.
Take care guys,
Rameses.
Hiya
I was diagnosed December 2021, like you I take the view prognosis is a best guesstimate, I try and make everyday a happy day,I definitely don’t worry about things I can’t control anymore, and I say what I think being mindful someone will be offended, who cares
have a great day
Hugs Donna
