My latest ct scan has shown some small nodules in both lung and some larger ones in the middle of the chest.they cannot operate as too many I also have been unsteady so I will have a brain scan , and then possibly tablets best wishes Ellen.
Hi Ellen, like Julie I have missed you on the site, but so sorry you have come back with this news. I hope the brain scan is just a precaution. Please let us know how you get on.
Take care xx

They say 1 in 2 will be hit with cancer! but we are 2 in 2! mine Thyroid my darling Ellen Lung! This return has hit us hard but we are determined to live with and fight , and trust we can battle through! From Ellen`s scan to having a phoned appointment with her Specialist,24 hours, an appointment had already been arranged and we had a meeting with her Oncologist at the Hospital yesterday with the options that will be pursued! I met this wonderful woman when she was 16 and we married when she was 20 and is the love of my life! "Marimba"? each letter is the initial of our grandchildren! Not just an African musical instrument!
Hi Marimbas’ better half your words when you were posting in the thyroid group. We were all rooting for you when Ellen told us you were poorly and yes we followed you when we worked out why Marimba was posting in that group.
Im sure she is being well looked after and it’s so good that things have moved so quickly. I’m hoping that you have a plan now as you say you met the oncologist and options were given that will be pursued.
It is a shock as there are so many people we don’t hear from at the moment, we look out for them then bang! Marimba comes back with this.
Please let us know how things are going. LOL, whenever Marimba comes on I immediately think of a dance but that’s rumba! at least you’ve put a stop to that. We knew there were grandchildren as Marimba has mentioned them occasionally but 7 wow.
Take care of yourselves and hopefully we’ll hear from Marimba soon
Thankyou Julie for your kind words, after speaking to the surgeon on Wednesday and getting the bad news, we had a phone call to see the oncologist the next day .he's a lovely man and does not mince his words.as I am so unsteady I'm having a mri scan on brain and back tomorrow. He will then look at my original sample, and see if I can have a treatment. TC Ellen.
They are certainly looking after me! another call today for appointment on Thursday, so no complaints in that respect! Just hope I can let you have some good news on Friday! AS they say.....................Keep the faith!
That’s good news Marimba, Things moving along nicely, no dilly dallying there Everything crossed for Thursday for you
