    Sorry Matman

I have never heard of a magic pill? Perhaps look up the medication name on the box? Then people may be able to provide you with more information.

I am wondering if you might mean Dexamethasone? Aka steroids...

Sounds like a targeted drug.  Did they tell you had a particular mutation?

    Hi Dance in the rain

I may of been told by when I got the phone call saying I had Lung cancer I didn't take it all in.

My Oncologist is phoning me friday and I'm not sure what to ask him ?

Not surprised you didn’t take in everything!  Not sure how much I can help on what to ask.  I’m very much one for not knowing too much!  I’ve never asked for example how long  I’ve got.  I don’t think they really know.  So I just concentrate on how I feel atm.  But I do think by the sound of it you want to know a little bit about your treatment and quite rightly!  Perhaps the main question isvwhat is this pill is it a targeted drug and how long will I be able to have it for.  I know for example the immunotherapy I’m on will only be given to me for a maximum of 2 years.  But that’s England and the NHS I’m not sure where you’re from.  Another question is likely side effects and things you should be looking out for.  Anyway I hope that helps and it’s great you are feeling the benefits so quickly.  Take care

    Hi Matman

How far along are you through the tests so far? This might help us to answer you on what you might want to ask?

Have you had a complete diagnosis yet? Or a plan? I am guessing not so far.

Have you had CT.s MRIs PET scan and biopsy?

    Any outstanding appointments to come?

    Hi Ginajsy

Yes I had a complete diagnosis with Lung Cancer and had all the CT and PET scans going....

I've spoken to my Oncologist today ask questions and got answers. It is a targeted medication

He is happy with my progress in the last 22 days I've been on Osimertinib. He will book a Scan for October.

Said I could even go back to work if I wanted to (cant work yet as I work with kids who have autism ) but I have got another 6 weeks to see if I can get fit ( hope so )

I'm not sure what's to come ...I know I'll have good and bad days but hay stay positive I say
