Hi everyone,
Over 4 yrs ago my husband was diagnosed with stage 4 NSCLC, he had 4 rounds of cisplatin/pemetrexed, then 2 yrs of pemetrexed only maintenance and then a year or so of watch and wait.
He has now had some progression and after a new biopsy was found to be ALK+ so is just starting Alectinib. My question is, as you take the pills everyday, are any side effects he may experience continuous or do they come and go ?
Any comments appreciated.

Hi
I don't have any experience with this drug but I noticed that your post hadn't had any responses yet. By replying to you it will bump it back to the top of the page where it'll be seen again.
I did find a few older posts when I typed 'Alectinib' into the search bar in this group. You could take a look at these and respond to any people who you think might be able to give you more information.
I've also found this information from the manufacturer's website which tells you about the possible side affects but it doesn't say whether they're continuous or not.
You could also post your question in ask a nurse and one of the specialist nurses will respond within 2 working days.
