Hi everyone,
This is my first post. I was diagnosed about five weeks ago with adenocarcinoma, locally advanced to the lymph nodes. It was a shock...no symptoms, just lucky to have had an xray for another reason. It's been a Rollercoaster of emotions and tests, but I'm finally starting treatment today with carboplatin and pemetrexed, as well as participating in a clinical trial.
Wish me luck!
Hi Hoopoe,
You asked for it so, - I WISH YOU LUCK!
Seriously though, first treatment is a terrifying time and once completed you have the side effects to worry about. Stay calm and let them know immediately if anything feels wrong.
What trial are you on?
Wishing you all the best
Albondigas x
