Hello All

I thought about setting up a thread for us all to use to chat about various stuff across, so it's all in one place and newer members posts not getting pushed down and off the discussion front page before getting an answer.

I hope you are all doing well and not too stuffed on easter eggs?

I have not eaten mine yet! I went to bed friday night not feeling well and woke up Saturday with a horrid migraine throwing my guts up Disappointed usually I fall asleep and sleep it off. Not so, I ended up going to the OOH doctor Sunday afternoon as was still throwing up Disappointed He gave me some lotions and potions and still not right yet. Though haven't thrown up for a few hours now. I going to try and eat something soon (not easter eggys) to see if I can manage that and see if it makes me feel better. I hate being ill! Especially on a bank holiday weekend with such nice weather. I was so looking forward to it and I have slept most of it away.

    Hey

Darlo OT was my occupational therapist,.So through the hospital not my work. But my work have been exceptionally supportive of me throughout all this too.

    Woohoo drinks on you Darlo?

Chelle, oh dear. Weather always catches us out! I did the opposite put my coat on as it had been raining, then took it off to carry it as far too hot.

Julie good luck, sure it will be good, you get the call off doom if not. Is this the other brother to the one doing your garden the other week. Get him to get you a nice tea. Nice he is doing that sly supportive big brother thing.

Now tomorrow morning is my first morning back at work. I'm sure it will be wadding through 100s of emails. Apparently the food has been restocked in anticipation of my return... I could get a reputation of a Pig2

I keep seeing people and they keep telling me 'I look good... considering what I have been through'.... cheek can they not just stop at you look good Yum

  • Good luck back at work tomorrow Gina. Take it easy xx

  • Hi Gina,

Enjoy your return to work tomorrow, no doubt you’ll get no sleep tonight, I never used to sleep the night before going back to work after a break from it. We probably won’t hear from you till tomorrow night, soon as you come home and sit down you’ll fall asleepJoy

We will hopefully go out for lunch and probably have to go out for tea cos I haven’t been to the shop - nothing inJoy - couldn’t be botheredSee no evil

  • Oh well,

As if things aren’t bad enough. Trains from Edinburgh to Carlisle are down so my brother is on a coach to Carlisle and if there are no trains from there they will put him in a taxi - could be along night See no evilRolling eyesJoyCry

    Julie
  • Oh no, that’s all you need. Can you track the coach to see how long it will be? I used to do that when my daughter used to travel on a coach to see her Dad. X

Gina have a good day back at work and don't overdo it. I'm sure the food is just to welcome you back and to ensure you keep your energy levels up!

Julie it sounds like fate is working to keep your brother away .

Derek good luck with round 17 tomorrow and try to stay away from the oramorph.

I've got an appointment with a tax assessor as the spanish tax office want me to pay them as well as the UK,  and with Brexit coming I need to get it sorted.

  • Hi all,

back from oncologist everything is shrinking ( lung & adrenal gland, nothing in groin ) see him in three months, which means I will have had 12 months treatment, which is better than what I was given last September - 3/6 months without treatment.

Out for lunch now with my brother Grin
