Modules on lungs maybe cancer what should I do operation or radiotherapy and what is SABR what are the side effects how to.manage anxiety
I was diagnosed last year cancer found top of my right lung it was found early . I was offered the operation no need for chemo or radiotherapy in my case . I will be checked for 5 year 20/8/25 was my one year anniversary of the operation. Keep in touch let us know how you get on
Hi, if you don't mind me asking, how did they diagnose you? Did you have a lung biopsy? I've had 2 biopsies but they haven't been able to get a good sample.
My GP sent me for a X-ray which lead to a CT scan which lead on to a PET scan then a lung biopsy. Where are you on your diagnostic

Only you can and should decide which treatment to go with. To get to that decision you will need to meet with the surgeon and the Oncologist to discuss all the Pros and Cons as they apply to your specific nodules.. Any decision will need to take into account your current health, including any non cancer related health issues.
SABR is a form of radiotherapy that can more accurately 'zap' the area of cancer, causing less damage to nearby healthy tissue. The main side effect is tiredness, which will depend on how many sessions you will need.
