Looking for anyone with this rare cancer, I was diagnosed yesterday and will be starting a medication called Retsevmo

  • Hi  I haven’t heard of Ret myself, so have done a little searching on the site, and think Retsevmo is also known as selpercatinib. I have added an information sheet below for you, just click on the link. I think Ret must be a rare lung cancer, but hopefully someone will be along and share their experience with you soon.

  • Hi Chelle

yes it is a rare form of cancer. I’ve found a Facebook group, it’s based in the States but, it’s something to be going on with. It’s always so good to find someone with the same condition. Just collected my 1st prescription so going to start taking them tonight. Your story is inspiring, I’m aware of the importance of keep a positive attitude.

    thanks for your reply

  • Hi

I was diagnosed with RET driven Adenocarcinoma ( stage 4 ) in March 2025. I have been taking Selpercatinib for the condition which to date has worked well . I remain fit and able to carry on my life as normal . The drug does cause fatigue and I have recently reduced the dose in an effort to minimise the fatigue . I would love to hear from any others with same condition .
