Can you get tested for ALK+ lung cancer on NHS?

My dad is a non smoker with brain mets but he doesn't think he's been tested for any DNA markers. He's been given chemo and keytruda.

  • Hi Sunday 505 oh hell what devastating news.so sorry for you all. I think you need to give a lot more info I have seen several occasion where ii new nothing of what someone posted as different parts of country have different terms and words for things I have had bowel land lung cancer and very recently lost my wife to lung cancer I'm posting this from a hospital bed after surgery yesterday to remove 40%of right lung. Also where is the primary tumor as if its brain there is a forum for that you willget a lot more replys if you make sure its the right forum.  Best of luck hope you get some positive reply's .
