Had my specialist nurse ring me today about the results of my m.r.i scan I had done on the 14/02/24& was told that there is cancer in my right pelvis as well in my left one. I have to go & have a diagnostic procedue' camara in my stomach as they think it could be from my overies& want to check the lining of my stomach too& surrounding areas.scared is an understatement, I'm terrified as I've only just come out of hospital 4 weeks ago after having a lobe removed from my left lung  as I had cancer there. I'm not sure what I should do apart from cry . Has anyone eles been through this or similar.

  • Oh   that is a lot for you to being through! Especially as you are recovering from surgery, that is enough for anyone to deal with, and now this. Bless you, I can understand how scared you must be feeling.
If you want to have a big cry, then you should. It does make us feel better to get these emotions out. Then think about getting these tests done, I know it’s hard, but just see it as another hurdle to get over. I bet you didn’t think you could face the lobe surgery, but you did. You should be proud of yourself for what you have overcome already, and you can do it again.

Sending you hugs, please do let us know how you get on.
