Hello everyone
I am booked to have a lobectomy (upper right lobe) and they will be taking lymph nodes too.
I am quite anxious about the operation, the level of pain and process to recovery. I’d be really interested to hear anyones experiences of this surgery.. how did you feel after, is the pain bearable, how long before you could do things, return to work etc etc.
Any tips to prepare or for when back home?
Thank you so much x
Hi I had my lobectomy in August it went well I came home with a drain on day 3 . The drain was taken out on day 10 . So I’m 6months on right side and breast still a little sensitive but all in all just getting on with it . I had my 1st scan in February and I get the results tomorrow when I see my consultant.
It’s never as bad as your imagination is just have lots of faith with the team good luck
