So even though Ive been diagnosed since 2018 Ive felt 'wellish' . Having been fairly stable on targeted therapy. I am now facing further advanced disease and will most probably require conventional chemo treatment. Any advice, its scary!
Hi Bluebell123 Just wanted to say Hi and that I am sorry that this spanner has been thrown into the works for you. This must of come as a shock for you, after being stable for some time.
I haven't had chemo myself, but sure someone will be along to chat with you about this soon.

Hiya, didn’t want to read and run. Sorry this is happening to you, my mum has chemo and immunotherapy every 21 days, everyone responds differently to treatment , my mum drives herself to her chemo apts / she still has all her hair / does her shopping. Her cleaning , , the latest scans show the cancer shrinking slowly, My mum does get infections very easily and ends up in a& e on antibiotics drops, with chemo they have anti sickness drugs that can help, I know this is scary, and im Sorry you have to Go through it, my mum said the treatment it’s self does not hurt , it’s a few days later she gets very very tierd, the tierdness is the hardest part. And if any family or friends have colds or coughs of ill, you must stay away from them, I hope your treatment goes aswell as it can, x I wish I could help u more. Xxxx
