Seven years ago my daughter was diagnosed with a low grade glioma in her brainstem. She had radiotherapy and chemotherapy tablets, treatment lasted for about a year. The tumor shrunk alot and she continued with MRI scans every 6 months.
Latest scan showed some movement they said. She has an appointment at the Marsden on Monday to discuss the latest results of scan.
We are all so worried about what will happen, will she be offered treatment again, they won't operate because of where it is
Has this happened to anyone else
Hi Beachcomer
I saw nobody had responded to your post so just wanted you to know you have at least been heard, My experience with cancer is very different though last year our son was diagnosed with a benign brain tumor as if life was not challenging enough.
It is really normal to be worried - really something very normal in what is an extra ordinary time. Hope the appointment goes well on Monday.
<<hugs>>
Steve
