Just back from our first oncology appointment. If there is such a thing as a positive, we've been told my other half may be a candidate for surgery. This depends on a further PET scan to make sure there's no more spread. That'll be another tough 2-3 week wait but, for today, we will take the small win.
Thank you for the advice too. I need to maintain some sort of normality amongst the chaos so we'll try to enjoy the coming weekend before thoughts turn back to PET scans and chemo etc.
