I’m not really sure how this works, so please accept my apologies for making a mess of this. I’m looking to check in on Court and Sazmac. I haven’t been on the site for a while as I’ve been trying to sort myself out! Can anyone tell me how to get a message to them please?
Hello Jools63
How are you getting on ? I will send you Friends request and you can either use that or if you add a @ in front of my name or anyone else’s name it sends them an email to let them know they have been mentioned .
Hope all is well with you .

Hi Court
I'm really well thanks. I’ve quit my volunteering job as I want to concentrate on getting back to full fitness. I’m enjoying spending more time with my dogs at the moment.
How are things with you and your mum? I haven’t been on this site much recently. I hope you are doing well.
Hi ,
Good on you . Time for self therapy !
Mum has a fall in the bathroom last week . Set her back a bit but had a good meeting with the oncologist. She is getting a scan then regroup in Jan . She has options but working on regaining her strength and weight .
Getting there but just missing dad . Married for 58 years and a great man to have around .
The physio suggested setting a goal for each day and so far she is going really well with it .
Best foot forward.
How are you finding things ?

So sorry to hear about your mum’s fall. Must’ve knocked her confidence a bit. Really pleased the meeting with her oncologist went well. Weight and strength are going to be so important going forward. My parents have been married for over 60 years, so I can understand how much your mum must be missing your dad. It’s lovely to hear you say what a great man he was. You must miss him too. It sounds like the physiotherapist is doing a good job.
I have a colonoscopy planned to remove my tricky sessile polyps in January! First 6 monthly scan will be in March. Waiting on blood test results from last week. I’m assuming they’re largely to check my liver function, but the nurse didn’t know.
I hope life gets easier for both of you. You’ve been through so much. Look after yourself, and keep in touch when you can.
Jools
Oh how lovely for your parents . Such a long time together .
Hope your colonoscopy goes ok . Always good to get these things over with .
Mum is doing ok this week . I actually thought she looked a bit stronger today and enjoyed being at the hairdresser.
She has very weepy moments but we all do . Dad lift such a gap in our lives .
However we keep trying as that would be his desire for us .
