Hi not one to usually post comments on any site, but have just been diagnosed with stage 3 bowel/anal cancer that has spread to lungs and liver. Am struggling to get my head round it all and sway from doom and gloom days where I don't want to see anybody, to lets find out all I need to know about the treatment offered. Have been given a treatment plan and when feeling a little bit more together will ask for some advice on how to manage side affects. Thanks for letting me waffle on.

I have a different type of cancer to you so don't have any experiences to share but I noticed that your post hadn't had any replies yet.
I hope you don't mind me suggesting that you also post this in the bowel cancer group as you'll find lots of people there whose bowel cancer has spread to their lungs/liver and I'm sure they'll be happy to talk about their experiences with you.
