Hi

I got told 4 weeks ago that I had secondary liver cancer. I have had a liver biopsy and a PET scan as they are trying to find the primary. I am now booked in for further blood tests and another liver biopsy.

I am anxious as I am not getting any answers to my question and just want to know if this is the normal process to go through.

Thanks

  • Hi and welcome to the Online Community. I myself have a different type of cancer but I think we can all agree whilst waiting for appointments, then the results, then the follow up tests our minds go into overdrive and we become more and more anxious. Once the tests are complete they'll set out a treatment plan and all will become clear.

Hopefully the other members here will be along soon to chat. You could always read some of the older threads and just click reply to chat to others. We're all here to support each other.
