Just having a bit of a rant so apologies! I have just been informed that following my diagnosis of secondary liver cancer, I have these extras. Now waiting for a biopsy in my armpit, and another colGrimacingoscopy looking at my colon. Already being referred for a liver resection, so I’m feeling somewhat bewildered. Every time I try to come to terms with one problem, I’m presented with more.Grimacing

It’s such a tough process . I have just looked back your earlier post as I was sure you mentioned you had a covid booster . It is very unusual ( not impossible) for bowel cancer to appear in that area . However if you have been vaccinated for covid recently and go for a mammogram you have to let them know as they are noting raised lymph nodes under the arm . This has also come up in one or two posts .
Might be worthwhile mentioning to your team if it’s the same side you got vaccinated on .  has had something similar.
Not sure if it’s different if the PET scan picked it up but it’s worth looking into .

A few people have suddenly got a raised lymph node under their arm .

    Take care ,

  • As usual Court you have saved the day! I did have my booster the day before my MRI and 4 days before the PET scan. It was on the side they are doing the biopsy on! You have really put my mind at rest. They’re doing the biopsy next Friday, so I’ll mention the booster to them. I don’t know what we’d do without your constant advice and support, so thank you so much.
