Hello My recent scan has showed that my secondary breast cancer to my bones has has a slight spread (oncologists words) to my li er. To say I'm scared is an understatement. I have to have a blood test within the next two weeks and see her in October. Any advice would be gratefully received about drugs or anything else.
I was diagnosed with secondary liver cancer plus omentum/peritonium mets in 2018. Have been on palbociclib (Ibrance) and letrozole and that has kept things stable, I have had to have 2 dose reductions due to neutropenia and one hospital stay for sepsis but have found the treatment very kind and doable. I think you will feel a lot better once you have a treatment plan in place. I have 3 monthly scans and obviously worry each time waiting for the results! Good luck x
Hello
I was on Ibrance for a year but came off it after my insurance company refused tompay for it and the NHS refused a funding request for it. I was stable on it with the bone cancer but since coming off my cancer has spread. Not sure what my next step will be.x
