hello. So my boyfriend is battling secondary liver cancer. Very small mets discovered on liver following curative surgery September last year. Was unable to have mop up chemo following complications from surgery including sepsis on three occasions. So on chemo now (irino mdg) fortnightly. Managing side effects very well, mainly tiredness and feeling a bit yucky on the days just after but we are going on walks through it and he is getting on his bike, 7 miles the other day. scan in September to see what affect the chemo has had. He has been offered a trial which he has consented to called focus4. Wondering if anyone on here has heard of this or are on this trial too. If so would love to hear from you.

Hi and welcome to the online community
I'm not a member of this group but I noticed that your post hadn't had any replies so I thought I'd see if I could find someone on the FOCUS4 trial for you.
I searched this group without success but found this thread in the family and friends group from 3 months ago in which Slat22 mentions that her husband is on it. You could respond to her to ask questions, etc. Her thread also gives a link to the information that Cancer Research UK has about the trial and I've reproduced that here as well.
