Diagnosed with liver cancer had a resection about 16 months ago, thought we had it beat, last scan 3 small tumours appeared in the remaining part of the liver, TACE 6 weeks ago, good results but found 3/4 more tumours spread out this time, seeing Consultant at Christies on Tuesday to discuss immunotherapy so feeling pretty anxious.

  • Hi  and a very warm welcome to the online community which I hope you'll find is both an informative and supportive place to be.

  • HI BLUEVOLVO, FIRSTLY WHAT A BUMMER,

Oops sorry had been in uppercase having a spat with Facebook, but back to you. I've not been in your position so cannot begins to believe how you must be feeling but I'm crossing everything for you. I can tell you a bit about some Immunotherapy treatment. In September 2023 I was started on a 3 weekly cycle of  Atezolizumab and Bevacizumab and on 22nd May I have my 30th cycle. It hasn't been a bed of roses. My problems are mainly fatigue which hit me hard as I was always on the go. Not just physical fatigue but mental. I've had very dry skin and soft brittle nails but apart from that I'm really well. I hope you well. There are so many advances in Immunotherapy treatments coming through so as I say everything crossed. Take care J x
