My dad has just been told he has liver cancer the type he has is very rare, both my mum and dad are trying to be so brave, my dad is a very proud, stoic and private man, my brother lives 2 hours away, I don't know how best to help my mum and dad x

I'm sorry to read that your dad has recently been diagnosed with liver cancer and it's natural to want to find out the best ways to support him.
As you know, the online community is divided up into different support groups, so I hope you don't mind me recommending that you also join and post in the family and friends group, which is a safe and supportive place to discuss your worries and emotions with others who are supporting a loved one living with cancer.
