He now has 2 tumours on his liver and it has spread into a main artery wall so he won't be getting a transplant ever, the tumour is central and can't be cut away, he is down for systemic anti-cancer therapy, atezolizumab and bevacizumab. he is being discharged from the hospital today, he lost 2 stones in 3 weeks, and I am hoping to feed him up and get back to some normality, can anyone share their experiences with me, please?
Hi Betty04 and a very warm welcome to the online community which I hope you'll find is both an informative and supportive place to be.
I'm sorry to read that your husband has liver cancer which has spread and I know what a difficult time this will be for you both.
I don't have any experience with this type of cancer but noticed that your post hadn't had any replies yet. Responding to you will 'bump' your post back to the top of the discussion list where it'll be more easily spotted.
While you're waiting for replies, it would be great if you could pop something about your husband's diagnosis and treatment so far into your profile as it really helps others when replying to you and also when looking for someone on a similar pathway. It also means that you don't have to keep repeating yourself. To do this click on your username and then select 'Profile'. You can amend it at any time and if you're not sure what to write you can take a look at mine by clicking on my username.
