My wonderful husband got diagnosed with liver cancer 19 days later passed away such a shock miss him so much

  • Hi  and a very warm welcome to the online community

I'm so sorry to read that your husband passed away from liver cancer so soon after his diagnosis. It must have been such a shock to you, first the diagnosis and then his passing.

As you know, the online community is divided up into different support groups and I wondered if you'd like to join the bereaved spouses and partners group which is a safe and supportive place to discuss your emotions with others who have lost a spouse or partner to cancer.

If this is something that you'd like to do, just click on the link I've created which will take you straight there. You can then join and start a new post in the same way as you did here.

  • My husband was diagnosed last Friday, it has spread to lungs and lymph nodes and he can’t have treatment, they have said between 4 and 8 months but he seems to be wasting away in front of me, could I ask what prognosis they gave your husband initially because I don’t think he is going to make even 4 months, thank you and I am so sorry to hear of your husband

  • Firstly I’m so sorry for your loss.  I can comprehend how difficult that is.  My husband has just been diagnosed with liver cancer.  We are not sure at the moment if he has primary or secondary but would love to chat

  • I’m sorry to hear about your husband but my complete coincidence My husband was diagnosed last Friday too.  Has he had a biopsy yet? My hubby is in today. I’ve been told his could be stage 4 which I’m so scared about as that sounds terminal.  I’m praying for a better diagnosis.  Stay strong

  • Hi so sorry to hear about your husband, mine had his biopsy and he has secondaries in his lungs and lymph nodes, he was took in hospital today because he has become really confused they thought he had had a stroke, it’s really scary as it’s so quick

  • Gosh I’m terribly sorry.  This must be so scary for you.  Im living in a suspended time void.  Not knowing what the prognosis is and what stage he has is desperate.  I’m sending lots of positive sentiments to you.   I really hope all is ok with him.
