The next step

Hi Jaqui and a very warm welcome to the online community which I hope you'll find is both an informative and supportive place to be.

I can't help with what will be the next step in your partner's treatment, as I had a different type of cancer, but I noticed that your post hadn't had any replies yet.

Your partner should have been assigned a cancer nurse specialist (CNS), sometimes referred to as a keyworker, who should be able to let them know what treatment has been planned.

If they don't have a named CNS yet, they could phone their consultant's secretary who should be able to help further.

It would be great if you could pop something about your partner's diagnosis and treatment so far into your profile as it really helps others when replying to you and also when looking for someone on a similar pathway. It also means that you don't have to keep repeating yourself. To do this click on your username and then select 'Profile'.
