Hi all,

Not sure where to start. I've been poorly with a few symptons. I had a CT scan 6 days ago and worried out of my mind. If they find anything sinister, would they call me as I'm panicking ever time my phone rings. Any positive words would be appreciated x

  • Hi

It's natural to fear the worst when you have unexplained symptoms and the only thing I can suggest is that you try to immerse yourself in doing things that you enjoy to take your mind off the 'what ifs'.

I noticed that you were also being investigated for breast cancer a month ago and wondered if you'd had the results from that yet? I'm keeping my fingers crossed that that turned out okay and this will do too.

  • Hi  and a very warm welcome to the online community which I hope you'll find is both an informative and supportive place to be.

It's natural to worry when you are waiting for the results of tests.

As this is an old post, can I recommend that you start a new one introducing yourself to the group and I'm sure people will then pop on and share their experiences with you.

It would be great if you could pop something about your diagnosis and treatment so far into your profile as it really helps others when replying to you and also when looking for someone on a similar pathway. It also means that you don't have to keep repeating yourself. To do this click on your username and then select 'Profile'. You can amend it at any time and if you're not sure what to write you can take a look at mine by clicking on my username.
