hi everyone my husband was diagnosed with this in January this year losing his voice in August last year he is into his second week of Radiotherapy he is coping with the eating at the moment so when does the eating become difficult
Good evening merseymum, in some cases it happens towards the end of the third week but there are people who do not get bad side effects from the radiotherapy and continue eating throughout treatment. I had my radiotherapy after my first operation which was the floor of the mouth so when i was told i had cancer of the larynx i could not have anymore radiotherapy. Even then i did not suffer bad side effects but could not eat due to the operation. Lets hope your husband continues with his steady progress and his eating is not hindered. Please feel free to message if you need further advice or help. Best wishes to you both, take care.
