About to be discharged from hospital after laryngectomy on Jan 7th.
Any tips/ hints/ useful tidbits please?

Hi Scaredstiff- welcome to the forum, I’m Tony one of the Community Champions, as you will see I’m a Laryngectomy of 5 years, yes it’s a big changed in so many ways but firstly I hope you have as I have extremely great support from your Speech Therapists, they will be as I put your Guardian Angels no matter what the problem is.
It take a while to get used to the change of your way of life now, you don’t mention if you have had a voice valve fitted for talking – I do hope so as it makes life so much better that we can communicate,
