Good afternoon All, I trust we are all doing ok?
I've started my fourth and final week of radiotherapy on my larynx and am so impressed by the treatment and care given to me by the medical teams.
One thing that has always intrigued me is the medical jargon that the experts discuss among themselves when positioning me and aligning the lasers.
They discuss 'soup' this 'and soup' that, and other terminology.
Sorry to be boring and technical, but does anyone know what all this means? Is there a list of all the jargon?
I have a science background and just need to know!
Thank you and have a good day.
Supine?
Why don’t you ask them?
