Has anyone else had this problem, I’ve been treated for oral thrush for some time thinking that was the problem but it transpires it was my body making excess mucous in my mouth, the exact opposite of dry mouth, it impedes my ability to swallow and is very difficult to live with. I 250 sponge mouth swabs each month to clear it out with. Neither my Speech and Language therapist or my consultant has any how to deal with it. Anyone got any ideas please.
Hi Tony, i found that some mouthwashes help break it down so its more manageable although I expect you have tried this avenue. As you say keep looking, take care.
Chris
